What We Do
Three jobs, one association
We train independent ADA consultants, credential them to a published standard, and connect them to the businesses that need their work.
Train
A 6-module core curriculum built specifically for the independent practitioner — physical ADAAG inspections, WCAG digital audits, Title I employment advisory, and running a consulting practice. Self-paced, with a practical capstone.
Credential
The CIAC — Certified Independent ADA Consultant — is our designation. Earned through training and capstone assessment, renewed annually with continuing education, backed by a published code of ethics and a formal grievance process.
Connect
Our sister site ADAConsultant.com routes inbound business leads directly to credentialed CIAC members. Membership produces clients, not just a certificate on the wall.

The gap we fill
Other accessibility organizations exist. None is built specifically for the solo and small-firm independent ADA consultant running a full-service practice in the United States.
Built for independents
IAAP is global and digital-heavy. ADA-coordinator associations are institutional. We are built for the practitioner running their own practice.

Most working consultants are asked about all three. Our curriculum treats them as one profession rather than a specialization.
